We get our name The Brook Church from this idea that we have been redeemed so that we could go. In 1 Peter 2 we see that we have been chosen, and set apart as holy, and we belong to God and we have received mercy why? So that, we could proclaim the excellencies of the one who has called out of darkness into His marvelous light!
